We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives spanning mobile applications, APIs, Salesforce integrations, and data platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for driving program planning, overseeing multiple workstreams, aligning stakeholders, managing risks, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables. While you are not expected to be a hands-on technical expert, a strong technical acumen is required to effectively coordinate with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams, as well as understand the nuances of various technology stacks and integration points.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Management & Delivery:
- Define programme scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive delivery plans, timelines, and resource models to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of complex initiatives.
- Track and manage programme-level risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively mitigating challenges and adjusting plans as needed.
- Implement robust governance structures, reporting frameworks, and communication plans to maintain transparency and stakeholder alignment.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for programme updates, progress reports, and executive-level communications.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration between product managers, developers, QA, UX/UI, data analysts, and sales/business teams.
- Ensure that internal and external stakeholders (including vendors and partners) have clear visibility into programme objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Technical Coordination & Insight:
- Collaborate closely with solution architects, technical leads, and engineering managers to ensure technical feasibility and sound design.
- Understand high-level technical concepts related to mobile applications, APIs, Salesforce implementations, and data integration to effectively guide discussions and drive informed decision-making.
- Support the teams in resolving technical impediments, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and best practices.
Continuous Improvement & Agile Methodologies:
- Champion Agile and iterative delivery methodologies, promoting continuous improvement, rapid feedback cycles, and adaptive planning.
- Identify and implement process improvements, delivery frameworks, and tool enhancements to optimize the effectiveness of programme execution.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the delivery organization.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Delivery & Programme Management:
- Proven track record (7+ years) of successfully managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder technology programmes or portfolios from initiation through to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) and governance best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in risk management, dependency mapping, resource planning, and budget oversight.
Technical Awareness:
- Familiarity with mobile application development life cycles, architectural patterns, and release management.
- Understanding of API integration principles, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities (Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud) and related integration methods.
- Comfortable with data-centric initiatives including ETL, data warehousing, analytics, and reporting platforms.
Soft Skills & Leadership:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including team motivation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder influence.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver who drives accountability and results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal project/programme management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or Agile certifications).
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment such as technology startups or digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Salary
$150,000 - 180,000
