Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 6+ years of experience in leading and supporting the migration of Hadoop-based data platforms to new environments.
• Work with Teradata data platforms to ensure smooth integration with Hadoop systems and other data sources.
• Expertise is using OLAP technologies and BI Analytics
• Experience in atleast one BI tool (PowerBI, Tableau, QuickSight, Cognos OBIEE)
• Experience in atleast one scripting language – Python, Shell, etc.
• Capable of investigating, familiarising, and mastering new data sets quickly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy infrastructure for the migration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising during the migration process.
• Write automation scripts for deployment and monitoring.
• Provide ongoing support during and after the migration process.

• Proven experience as a Hadoop Engineer, with hands-on experience working with Hadoop clusters and big data tools.
• Strong knowledge of Teradata data warehouse and its integration with big data platforms like Hadoop.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation, deployment, and provisioning.
• Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise setups.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in agile methodologies and delivery environments.
