Experience:

Our ideal candidate will have experience in AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and Aurora, with a strong background in software development. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure, as well as optimizing our continuous integration and delivery pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain our cloud infrastructure using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and Aurora
• Develop and maintain automated deployment and testing processes
• Implement and maintain security and compliance policies and procedures
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize the continuous integration and delivery pipeline
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions
• Monitor and report on infrastructure performance and capacity utilization
  
  

Essential experience/requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering
• Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, Lambda, etc.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with database technologies such as Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Must have strong knowledge on Terraform & Kubernetes (EKS specifically)
• Datadog is a plus or alternatively any other Monitoring tools like New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics
• Strong background in software development with experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, etc.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desired experience/requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps with EKS Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, Lambda, etc.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Argo CD.
• Must have strong knowledge on Jenkins, Infrastructure as Code & Kubernetes.
• Able to write infrastructure as code on the job.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
