Responsibilities and Duties
We are looking for a Test Engineering Lead (Quality Cloud Architect) who wants to join and grow a high-performing team which aims to help create a world class engineering capability. The technologies used will be wide ranging and varied. You will be energetic to learn and pick up new technologies and work across different clients and sectors. In this role we will be bringing together the traditional responsibilities across Quality Engineering, DevOps and Cloud Engineering.

Working alongside our clients, your role and responsibilities as a Test Engineering Lead (Quality Cloud Architect) will focus on:
- Developing Test Strategies: Designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies that align with customers business goals.
- Architectural Leadership: Provide technical leadership in defining testing frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to support efficient and effective testing practices.
- Quality Assurance: Establish quality assurance standards and ensure adherence to maintain consistency and reliability in software products.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and drive testing efforts throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in testing processes and implement solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Coach and mentor team members on best practices in testing, automation, and quality assurance.
- Stakeholder Management: Management of key stakeholders on our customer site, building strong relationships to ensure project success.
Experience
Our ideal candidate will have great passion, personal and technical skill. Curiosity, empathy and drive are all qualities we value. However we look for culture add not always culture fit.
You will have proficiency in several of our core capabilities and feel comfortable leading agile development teams.
You will also have:
- Proven experience as a technical lead and a background in Quality Engineering.
- Experience developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and strategies, ensuring all critical aspects of the product are covered
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and engage with challenging or high-demand stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Deep understanding of both DevOps and Development principles.
Salary
$180,000 - 220,000
Location
We are open to applicants being based in either Austin, TX or New York.
