About the Role
We are seeking a People and Talent Acquisition Partner to join our fast-growing Australian team for a 9-month parental leave cover. In this dual role, you will focus on talent acquisition (60%) while also supporting our people and culture initiatives (40%), playing a crucial part in shaping our future by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.

Talent Acquisition (60%)
- Work closely with executive and senior leaders to understand business needs and deliver strategic recruitment advice that supports our continued growth
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies utilising various channels including professional networks, job boards, LinkedIn, and industry events to build a diverse candidate pipeline
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial screening to offer management, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
- Prepare employment contracts that are clear, compliant, and aligned with our values
- Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates for future roles, creating talent pools to meet upcoming hiring needs
- Champion inclusive hiring practices and advocate for fair and equitable recruitment processes
- Leverage recruitment data and analytics to monitor key metrics and continuously improve our talent acquisition strategies
- Collaborate with the Head of Talent and Head of People and Culture to grow our Engineering team in Australia
People and Culture (40%)
- Champion our Australian culture, leading with empathy, inclusion, and compassion
- Contribute to employee engagement and retention strategies aligned with our global People and Culture vision
- Serve as a trusted advisor for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, benefits, and HR-related matters
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and excellent experience
- Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development plans
- Provide initial support on employee relations matters and partner with line managers on complex situations
- Maintain knowledge of Australian employment legislation to ensure compliance
- Generate insights from people data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Support the review and updating of People Policies and Handbooks
Desired Experience and Skills
- Experience working within an early-stage business with multiple stakeholders
- Previous experience working with globally distributed teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Solid technology recruitment background either in an agency or in-house setting
- Good understanding of DevOps, Software Development, and Quality Engineering
- Experience working within a consultancy environment
- Ability to prioritise and deliver against key requirements in a constantly evolving environment
- Knowledge of Australian employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
