Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with Java skills and experience to lead quality engineering initiatives and drive test automation strategy across the software development lifecycle. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong system thinking, and the ability to embed quality practices into product and engineering workflows.

As a senior member of the team, you will own the design and evolution of test automation frameworks, mentor engineers on testing best practices, and partner closely with development and product teams to ensure requirements are translated into robust acceptance criteria and comprehensive test coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and solutions

• Define and drive test strategy across unit, integration, system, and end-to-end testing

• Translate business and technical requirements into clear acceptance criteria and automated test scenarios

• Embed quality engineering practices throughout the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines

• Lead root cause analysis of defects and quality issues, driving preventative improvements

• Mentor and support engineers in automation and testing best practices

• Advocate for quality, reliability, and testability in system design and implementation

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong software engineering skills with Java and JavaScript

• Extensive experience in test automation tools and frameworks

• Strong experience in building scalable automated test frameworks and solutions

• Deep understanding of test lifecycle management and modern SDLC practices
