Senior Cloud Security Engineer - GCP

Role:

Risk & Threat Modelling:

• Lead threat modelling across IAM, networking, compute engine, databases and sensitive data flows

• Identify and articulate security risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Recommend pragmatic, delivery-aligned mitigation strategies

Secure architecture and controls:

• Design and implement cloud native security controls across IAM, networking, encryption, secret management and observability

• Translate InfoSec policies and requirements into implementable controls

• Embed security into CI/CID pipelines, infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows

• Advise delivery team on security best practices on IaC and configurations

Security governance:

• Manage the formal Data Privacy & Information Security Assessment process

• Represent the project with internal teams and external vendors on security topics to ensure alignment and resolve issues

• Manage and drive remediation of identified security gaps to closure

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have:

• Threat modelling

• Hands on cloud security experience (GCP preferred)

• Terraform

• Git & CI/CD

• Network security fundamentals

• Experience securing database platforms in cloud environments

Nice to Have:

• GCP

• Oracle OCI

• Experience with data migration risks
