Role

We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to design, build, and operationalise a production-grade Architecture as Code platform. This platform will enable our client to manage architecture documentation, standards, and governance as version-controlled code — enhanced by automated validation, AI-powered design reviews, infrastructure drift detection, and a conversational AI agent for natural language queries across the architecture estate.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys combining modern DevOps practices with cutting-edge AI capabilities to deliver scalable, intelligent platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end platform, building and integrating CI/CD pipelines, AI-driven review capabilities, document generation tooling, and a published architecture portal. You’ll work across the full technology stack — from GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines through to LLM orchestration and static site deployment.

Required Skills & Experience:

Must have:

• Strong software engineering in Python with experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines)

• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (Azure OpenAI or OpenAI) including prompt engineering, structured output parsing, retry/backoff, and token budget management

• Proficiency with Git workflows, branch protection, code review automation, and static site generators (Jekyll, Hugo, or similar)

Desirable:

• Experience building agentic or multi-persona AI systems with configurable prompts and routing logic

• Familiarity with markdown tooling ecosystems (markdownlint, Mermaid, YAML frontmatter processing)

• Prior work on developer experience or internal platform tooling in an enterprise setting
